Slab Leaks

Slab leaks come from soft copper pipes in the slab foundation of a home. It was thought to be a good idea to have these soft copper pipes or galvanized pipes pop out at the kitchen, bathrooms and laundry rooms. Over time the pipes developed pinhole leaks and other problems. The damage to the foundation can be substantial, and the result could mean a water damage in your home. Never ignore a plumbing slab leak if you see it, the longer you put off the slab leak, the costlier it becomes may even turn into MOLD.

Don’t make the mistake of calling a plumber to repair your slab leak. They cannot handle the whole job. With TCC General Contracting we will handle the water damage portion and the plumbing at the same time no need to call multiple contractors. If a reroute/repipe is required we got you covered, and will even repair your drywall. This is something most plumbers will not do.

A repipe permanently solves this problem by rerouting new copper or PEX plumbing above ground; this will prevent any future corrosion or leaks in the slab. This method avoids the costly and highly inconvenient option of jack hammering the floor and foundation around the leak. When you have a slab leak, a repipe of those lines is the only way to go, to avoid future problems.
